Hi everyone!!

I am Riccardo and in November I went to Romania for a very interesting project in Ramnicu Valcea called “Green Practices – Empowering Eco-Friendly Sharing.

The project was focused on sharing effective methods for environmental awareness within the context of Youth Exchanges.

The days were really full and it was amazing listening to what fellow participants were contributing. The methods that were proposed were very effective and incisive.

We always did activities related to the project which made us really reflect on what the theme was. One of my favourite was the “international debate about good practice” where we split into our national teams and discussed about how our country was working on ecological problems. We shared our knowledge and good practice with the whole group. We also did some more practical activities like the “cleaning day”, were we picked up all the trash present in the nature.

I really appreciates this alternation between practical and theoretical methods, I think it was the right way to approach and internalize concepts.

All the guys were very friendly and it was always a pleasure to talk and know them better during our free time. I came back wanting to start another project straight away, so i would say it was a super positive experience. I would like to thank the host association Aide for the hospitality and the excellent management.
