A un certo punto, finalmente, sono riuscita a essere selezionata per il famoso PONFE (The power of non-formal education), un training particolarmente noto per chi si interessa al tema dell’educazione non formale.
The PONFE è un training su cui è molto difficile scrivere un articolo da blog: è meglio non fare spoiler.

At a certain point, I finally managed to be selected for the famous PONFE (The Power of Non-Formal Education), a training course particularly well known to those interested in non-formal education. PONFE is a training course that is very difficult to write a blog article about: it is best not to give any spoilers.

Si parlerà di: giocoleria, apprendimento, lotterie, disuguaglianze sociali, origami, metodi pedagogici, portogallo. Sarà breve e sarà intenso.
Se sei youthworker e cerchi spunti praticissimi, li otterrai per forza: vista l’esperienza dei trainer, non è possibile altrimenti.

We will talk about: juggling, learning, lotteries, social inequalities, origami, teaching methods, Portugal. It will be short and intense. If you are a youth worker looking for practical ideas, you are sure to find them: given the trainers’ experience, it couldn’t be otherwise.

Tuttavia, non sarà il focus del training: sarà una lunga breve intensa provocazione, uno spazio per confrontarsi su cosa sia il nostro lavoro e quale sia il nostro posto nel mondo (ambizioso, sì, ma riuscito). Sarà un’esperienza attraverso cui moltissimi youthworkers negli anni sono passati, un format affinatosi edizione dopo edizione, che è cresciuto con i loro ideatori.

However, this will not be the focus of the training: it will be a long, intense provocation, a space to discuss what our work is and what our place in the world is (ambitious, yes, but successful). It will be an experience that many youth workers have gone through over the years, a format that has been refined edition after edition, growing alongside its creators.
