TORINO, Italy 22 – 30 giugno 2025

Il Training Course “Beat the NEET” che si è svolto da 22 al 30 giugno a Torino, è stato un viaggio che non dimenticherò mai. L’arrivo in città il primo giorno è stato davvero emozionante, non conoscevo nessuno, eppure è stato come sentirsi subito tutti a casa. Dopo le prime presentazioni, ci siamo subito immersi nelle attività: giochi di conoscenza, ice-breaker e primi laboratori che ci hanno aiutato a capire il vero scopo del corso.

The Training Course “Beat the NEET” which took place from June 22nd to 30th in Turin, was a journey I will never forget. Arriving in the city on the first day was really exciting, I didn’t know anyone, yet it was like everyone immediately felt at home. After the first presentations, we immediately immersed ourselves in the activities: knowledge games, ice-breakers, and first workshops that helped us understand the true purpose of the course.

Nei giorni successivi, il programma è stato intenso ma anche molto stimolante. Ogni mattina avevamo sessioni di formazione organizzate in modi precisi ed accurati, partendo dalle strategie fino ad approfondire strumenti per supportare i giovani NEET, seguite da workshop pratici in cui potevamo sperimentare e discutere idee insieme. Quello che più mi ha colpito è stata la varietà delle prospettive – ascoltare ragazzi e ragazze provenienti da tutta Europa, con esperienze e contesti diversi, mi ha fornito approcci che non avrei mai considerato.

In the following days, the program was intense but also very stimulating. Every morning we had training sessions organized in precise and accurate ways, starting with strategies and delving into tools to support young NEETs, followed by hands-on workshops where we could experiment and discuss ideas together. What struck me most was the variety of perspectives – listening to boys and girls from all over Europe, with different experiences and backgrounds, gave me approaches I would never have considered.

Ma il corso non è stato solo lavoro, tra un laboratorio e l’altro, ci siamo concessi momenti di pausa per scoprire Torino. Passeggiare per le vie della città, assaggiare cibi locali e semplicemente chiacchierare con il gruppo ha reso tutto ancora più speciale. In pochissimi giorni abbiamo costruito legami forti, basati sulla fiducia e sulla collaborazione. È incredibile come attività condivise, ci abbiano unito così profondamente.

But the course wasn’t just work; between one workshop and another, we took breaks to discover Turin. Strolling through the city streets, sampling local foods, and simply chatting with the group made it all the more special. In just a few days, we have built strong bonds, based on trust and collaboration. It’s amazing how shared activities have brought us together so deeply.

Gli ultimi giorni sono stati focalizzati sul sintetizzare quanto affrontato durante tutta la settimana; presentazioni, role-play e discussioni su come applicare queste strategie nei nostri contesti locali. C’è stata anche tanta emozione nel vedere quanto ognuno di noi fosse cresciuto in così poco tempo, non solo professionalmente, ma anche personalmente.

The last few days have been focused on summarizing what has been addressed throughout the week; presentations, role-play, and discussions on how to apply these strategies in our local contexts. There was also so much emotion in seeing how much each of us had grown in such a short time, not only professionally, but also personally.

Portiamo a casa competenze nuove, ricordi indimenticabili e la consapevolezza che esperienze come questa possono davvero cambiare il modo in cui guardiamo noi stessi e gli altri. Questo corso non è stato solo formazione, ma bensì è stato un’esperienza di vita, che mi ha fatto capire quanto sia importante aprirsi, sperimentare e collaborare.

We take back home new skills, unforgettable memories, and the awareness that experiences like this can truly change the way we look at ourselves and others. This course wasn’t just training—it was a life experience that taught me how important it is to open up, try new things, and collaborate.

Tornerei subito, senza pensarci due volte. Questa settimana a Torino mi ha lasciato ispirazione, motivazione e nuovi amici con cui condividere il futuro.

I would go back immediately, without thinking twice. This week in Turin left me with inspiration, motivation, and new friends to share the future with.
