GAZIANTEP, Turkey 4 – 12 ottobre 2025

Il progetto a Gaziantep, in Turchia, è stata un’esperienza davvero straordinaria, capace di arricchirmi ben oltre le mie aspettative. Non solo mi ha permesso di approfondire nuovi aspetti legati al tema delle dipendenze, ma mi ha anche dato l’opportunità di entrare in contatto con culture diverse, modi di pensare e prospettive che raramente si incontrano nella vita quotidiana.

The project in Gaziantep, Turkey, was truly an extraordinary experience—one that enriched me far beyond my expectations. It not only allowed me to explore new aspects related to the topic of addictions, but also gave me the opportunity to connect with different cultures, ways of thinking, and perspectives that are rarely encountered in everyday life.

I progetti Erasmus hanno proprio questo potere: aprono la mente, allargano gli orizzonti e aiutano a comprendere qualcosa in più non solo sul mondo, ma anche su noi stessi. Grazie allo Youth Exchange abbiamo potuto affrontare argomenti cruciali come il supporto a chi soffre di dipendenze, le strategie di prevenzione e le differenti modalità con cui questo problema viene gestito nei vari Paesi. Confrontarci su esperienze, sistemi di sostegno e approcci culturali diversi è stato illuminante e ci ha fatto capire quanto sia fondamentale parlarne apertamente.

Erasmus projects have exactly this power: they open your mind, broaden your horizons, and help you understand more not only about the world, but also about yourself. Through the Youth Exchange, we were able to address crucial issues such as supporting those who struggle with addiction, prevention strategies, and the different ways this problem is managed across our countries. Sharing experiences, support systems, and diverse cultural approaches was eye-opening and made us realize how essential it is to talk about these topics openly.

Le attività e i workshop sono stati intensi ma coinvolgenti, e il gruppo si è unito in modo naturale, creando un ambiente sicuro, accogliente e collaborativo. Tra le esperienze più significative c’è stata la visita a una scuola privata, dove abbiamo potuto confrontarci direttamente con studenti e insegnanti, partecipando ad attività dedicate alla prevenzione e al sostegno. Questo scambio ci ha permesso di comprendere ancor più a fondo quanto sia complesso e importante lavorare in questo ambito, e quanto ogni intervento debba essere gestito con cura, empatia e professionalità.

The activities and workshops were intense yet engaging, and the group bonded naturally, creating a safe, welcoming, and collaborative environment. One of the most meaningful moments was our visit to a private school, where we had the chance to interact directly with students and teachers, taking part in activities focused on prevention and support. This exchange helped us understand even more deeply how complex and important this field is, and how each intervention must be handled with care, empathy, and professionalism.

Sono tornato da questa esperienza con il cuore pieno di gratitudine. È un viaggio che mi ha lasciato molto, sia a livello umano che formativo, e che consiglio con tutto il cuore a chiunque abbia voglia di mettersi in gioco e scoprire qualcosa di nuovo. È stata un’opportunità preziosa di crescita personale, che rifarei senza esitazioni.

I returned from this experience with a heart full of gratitude. It is a journey that gave me so much—both on a personal and educational level—and one that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who wants to challenge themselves and discover something new. It was a precious opportunity for personal growth, and I would repeat it without hesitation.
